Getting Started
The motivation to create this site has been some time in the making. There is a chasm of information and perspective that I want to help fill as it relates to K12 education. My goals for this site are to enhance information currently available, aspire to improve the current state, and bring people together to participate in this process.
My site will make information available to its readers and participants from my perspective; although in doing so, I am committing to bringing as much objective research and data into topics as I can. I hope others can improve upon this by adding their own sources and findings as well. Material will be appropriately credited to original sources and authors.
I want to emphasize that this site will reflect my perspective, and the perspectives of those that contribute content to the site through comments or by contributing links to other sources of content. It does not reflect the official perspective of any other entity, including any organizations or governing bodies of which I am a member.
I hope you’ll join in adding value to this site and help improve it over time. I appreciate your time in reading this and any suggestions you might make.

Trustee Stead,
I just cruised your site, scanned your initial blog entries, my first visit. Beaucoup kudos and thanks for doing this! Your service and dedication to AAPS and A2 are a model for us all. I have chosen to receive the daily digest of your posts and recommend this option to others. I have also provided a link to this site via AAEA’s social media sites (https://twitter.com/annarborea https://www.facebook.com/groups/351245309840/) hoping to help your efforts to facilitate the discussion of the issues facing public education. Again, thanks for the extraordinary commitment reflected in this site.
